The cores of this extension cable are made out of the same alloys thermocouples type K (NiCr-Ni) are made of. Thermocouples made out of this cable fulfill thus the accuracy class 1 of the international standard DIN EN60584. Also the extension of existing thermocouples type K with this cable will introduce no additional measurement error. The construction of the conductors with their cross section 0,22 mm² (2 x 0.22 m²) insure a high grade of flexibility whereas the cable still mechanically very stable. The copper braid shield between insulated cores and Jacket blocks effectively all electromagnetic noise radiations. Jacket and core insulation out of FEP Teflon ® can be used in ambient temperatures up to 205 °C.
