The thermocouple-based air sensor consists of a PTFE-insulated thermal wire type K (NiCr-Ni) and a miniature connector type K. Despite its simple design, the air sensor impresses with its very fast response time, as the measuring tip is exposed. The temperature sensor can also score points in terms of measuring precision, as B + B only uses pure thermocouple material in the manufacture of thermocouple sensors.

This type K temperature sensor is suitable for measuring temperatures of up to 260 ° C in a wide variety of media. Thanks to the miniature connector process connection, the air temperature sensor is often connected to handheld measuring devices (SHOP 0560 0305), all the more mobile in e.g. Processes to check and monitor the temperature.
