This temperature probe is assembled with a Pt100 temperature sensor and is convenient for a measurement range from -40 up to +180 °C. The length of the copper cable FEP/silicon covers a range of 2 m and can as well bear an ambient temperature of +180 °C. The connection side has "open" ends, the wire ends are tinned, thus a flexible connection either to a connector or an analysis unit is possible. The temperature sensor is protected by a stainless steel tube, which has a length of 50 mm and a tube diameter of 6 mm.
This temperature probe is used particularly often in heating control technology and buffer storage units. The stainless steel tube perfectly protects the temperature sensor against the influence of any external thread and is therfore appropirate for long-term operation.
